WorkTap

Know they turned up.

A staffing agency charges you a large margin and still cannot answer the only question that matters on the day: did the person turn up, and were they the person you vetted? WorkTap answers it with evidence for every single shift.

What you get

Four facts about every shift, recorded as it happens

Not a report compiled afterwards. Each of these is captured at the moment of check-in and held against the shift record.

The person was vetted

Every worker links their Aadhaar and a UPI ID before they can be assigned to a single shift. Nobody works unverified.

They were at your site

Check-in is refused server-side outside the radius you set, 200 metres by default. A device reporting a mock location is refused outright and the attempt is recorded.

At the time they say

Check-in and check-out timestamps come from our server, not from the worker's phone.

And here is the photo

Taken at check-in, on site, held against the shift record.

How we work today

Managed, on purpose

There is no client dashboard yet. Today our team posts your shifts and verifies the completed work, which means every engagement starts with a conversation rather than a signup form.

  1. 01

    You tell us the shift

Site, timings, headcount, rate. We agree what you are billed.

  2. 02

    We staff it

The shift goes out to verified workers near your site, who apply and are confirmed instantly up to your headcount.

  3. 03

    You get the evidence

Coordinates, timestamps, photos and distances for every check-in, and we verify the completed work before anyone is paid.

Start with one shift

The fastest way to judge this is to run a single real shift and look at what comes back. Tell us what you need staffed and we will set it up.

Questions

Before you ask

How does a shift get posted right now?
We post it for you. WorkTap is deliberately managed on the hiring side today: you tell us the site, the timings, the headcount and the rate, and our team publishes the shift and verifies the completed work. Client self-service is on the roadmap, not in the product yet.
What do I actually receive as proof?
For every check-in and check-out: coordinates, a server-side timestamp, the photo taken on site, and the distance from your site recomputed by us rather than reported by the phone. This data exists for every shift from day one.
How are workers paid, and when?
Workers are paid to their UPI ID within 7 days of a shift being verified. You are billed at an agreed rate; the worker receives the rate advertised on the shift. Those are two separate numbers and the worker's is never reduced to cover ours.
What stops a worker checking in from home?
Two things. The distance from your site is always recomputed on our side, so the phone cannot simply claim to be inside the fence. And if the device reports a mock location — a fake-GPS app — the check-in is refused before the geofence is even evaluated.
What size of engagement makes sense?
The product is built for shifts that need a headcount rather than a specialist: stock audits, catering, events, background artists, merchandising. If your operational question is "did forty people turn up", that is the problem this was built for.
